Last weekend I attended my 25 year reunion and it was a downer. I enjoyed seeing my old classmates but the mood was so blah. They used a company to host and plan the event. The event had no SOUL…..
It was totally on auto pilot. Hopefully enough people were moved to
do better. One comment was we could rented a VFW post with open bar
had a blast for the money we spent. Yup…but I know that requires
hands on involvement.

Hey Flickr Family,
The memorial service Monday was a true celebration of the life of my
dad. We have a moment before we travel to Brightwood Virginia for the
family service and interning of his ashes on October 18, 2008.
I was going through my Blackberry and came across this photo I took
the Sunday my dad decided to stop all the life giving services. This
is the last item I am sharing before getting back to the regular
routine. I thought it worthing of sharing becuase it was a real
moment that he and I shared alone that morning.
He wrote:
There is somthing else.
There is noting else I can do.
Should I let all things just happen?
I would like as many as possible be here.
Thank you all for sharing my journey and walk with my him. I still
feel like he is living in Florida and I’ll see when I drive
there……
We will now continue the with our regular programming……….

You’ve heard of speed dating. This was speed vendoring….
You had a bunch of different vendors at tables and 10 minutes to spend before the whistle blew and you had to move on. Interesting concept……

He made his transition at 9:40AM Tuesday September 2, 2008. John Henry is survived by his Ex-Wife Mary E. Arrington, his six children(by age order) Mary Moore, John Henry III, Marvelle Hall, Zita Johnson Betts, Joel Malquis and Manuel Andre. He has a host of grand children, great grand children and numerous cousins.
John Henry Jr. loved his family as was all about family. It was this love that inspired me to create this place for sharing of family news and information. If you would like to see a pictorial journey of the last four months please visit our Gallery.

To my Flickr Family:
Your prayers and wishes have meant so much to me over the last 5
months. Interacting with you has really helped to break the “Ground
Hog Day Syndrome.”
To my DC Social Friends, you all are the best. Our meetups have
helped to keep my sanity during the time my father was hospitalized.
The gallery openings, meetups and Artomatic.
All further updates about my dad will be posted on my family website:

Hey Folks…Nope wasn’t me just caught the aftermath……
Here is the scoop!!!!
You see the car that is overturned??? It tried to avoid hitting a rabbit in the middle of the street. Went into a slide hit the curb into a tree and flipped over.
While being inverted came back into the open street. The front roof..where the windshield is….landed on top of the rabbit still in the street crushing it in the process…..
Now…not to be cruel but with all that damage and destruction you still managed to kill the rabbit that you wrecked your car and went to the hospital trying to avoid while going to fast on a wet street.
NOT YOUR DAY!!!!!
